Due to our ongoing growth, we have an outstanding opportunity for a Trainee Fitter within our well-established Installation Team. This opportunity would be perfect for someone looking to join a reliable and hard-working team with a view to developing their skill set and progressing through the company.

The Second Fitter will be primarily involved with the day-to-day installation of worktops. This will include the use of hand tools and machinery. Full on the job training will be provided along with specialised job relevant external training.

CORE DUTIES


Training will be provided for the following duties.

The installation of all worktops to the highest specification and precision. Completion of detailed quality control on all worktops installed at the time of installation and pre-loading. Ensuring that all required paperwork is completed to the companies required working standard. Ensuring that the company vehicle is loaded with the correct tools and equipment required for daily duties. Responsible for assuring the safe operation of all tools and machinery as stated in our Health and Safety Policies, Procedures, and Operational Guidance. Assessing and surveying each installation site to ensure that it complies with the companies Health and Safety standard. Competent in taking payments via various payment methods whilst on site. Representing the company at a customer facing level to the highest standard. This is also required when speaking to the customers via telephone. Assist with the general maintenance and housekeeping of the yard and staff areas. Assist Installations and Production Manager with any relevant tasks required.

PERSON SPECIFICATION



Driving licence is essential.

Strong Attention to Detail. Ability to work well as part of a team. Ability to work without supervision. Ability to receive direction and training from all Managers. Excellent Time Management Skills and flexibility. Driven to learn and progress within the trade.
Standard hours are Monday-Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm. During busier periods overtime and weekend work is available.

DRIVING LICENCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS ROLE.



Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 24,000.00 per year
