Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced tradesperson who is keen to learn all aspects of commercial floor coverings, with the intention of becoming a fully qualified fitter and building a career in flooring.

The employee will be working on-site every day from 8:00am-4:30pm(Monday-Friday) Learning how to correctly fit all types of Carpets, Vinyl and LVT including all subfloor prep and latexing.
The successful candidate will work full time with a mentor and be fully supported throughout their training.

Essential Criteria:

Proven experience working in a construction or trade environment (e.g. carpentry, joinery, plumbing, gas fitting, general building or electric works) Strong practical skills and confident use of hand and power tools Physically able to carry out manual work (lifting, kneeling, standing) Willingness to learn floor-laying techniques and follow training plans Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team Full UK driving licence and at least 2 years driving experience

Desirable Criteria:

Experience working on residential or commercial sites CSCS card (or willingness to obtain) Experience reading drawings or plans Good understanding of site health & safety procedures Customer-facing experience
