Trainee Fryer

Key Responsibilities:

- Food Preparation: Assist in preparing fresh fish and chips, including battering and seasoning, while adhering to our recipes and standards.

- Cooking: Operate frying equipment safely and efficiently, ensuring all food items are cooked to perfection and meet health and safety regulations.

- Quality Control: Monitor cooking times and temperatures to guarantee the quality and consistency of our dishes.

- Cleaning and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organised work area, including regular cleaning of fryers and kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.

- Customer Service: Engage with customers, taking orders accurately and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.

- Till work and General serving of customers, operating the cash register, handling transactions and serving food to customers in a timely and Friendly manner.

- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.

Qualifications:

- Some previous experience is required, but a passion for food and willingness to learn is essential.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
