We are looking for a Trainee General Accounts Assistant to join the team at our facility in Castleford.

The Person

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wishing to start their career in finance, having GCSE Math & English or equivalent.

You will be a highly motivated, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills & work to a high level of accuracy. Computer literate, in particular excel, you will be keen to learn & develop within an office environment.

The Role

The post holder will assist with the management of both the sales ledger & purchase ledger, undertaking general finance support.

Some of responsibilities will include:

1. Allocation of cash receipts.

2. Process sales invoices/credits in a timely manner.

3. Assist with general customer queries

4. Scan invoices/supporting documentation

5. Suggest ways of continuous improvement
