Job Description

Graduate / Trainee Quantity Surveyor required to join a fast paced, diverse, and dynamic Construction Company based in the Midlands.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone to join our growing our commercial team with recent success in the securing Main Contracts around the UK, projects include large civil engineering works, Fit-Out and new build works.

The role will include the following responsibilities

Preparation of and sending out Bills Of Quantities

Attending meetings with customers and stakeholders on commercial matters

Cost Analysis and preparation of reconciliation documents

Site Visits to carry out Valuations and Site Measures

Preparation of Tender Documents and subcontractor packages of works

Carrying out valuations and final account issues

Pricing variation works and additional works

Managing Commercial Issues on projects

Monitoring costs on on-going projects

Requirements for the role

Preferable Degree Qualified (able to provide training)

Strong Communication, IT and Commercial Skills

Ability to work on your own initiative

A good team player with a methodical approach

Organisational Skill

(minimum 1 year industry experience, preferred but not essential)
