Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Trainee to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills , particularly in the areas of groundskeeping and landscape maintenance. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced Greenkeepers to learn the fundamentals of building and maintaining outdoor spaces, utilising both hand and power tools.

Duties

Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the golf course and landscaped areas, ensuring they are aesthetically pleasing and healthy. Learn to operate various hand tools and power tools for tasks such as digging, planting, and irrigation. Participate in landscape projects, including the installation of new features and the renovation of existing ones. Develop mechanical knowledge through hands-on experience with equipment used in groundskeeping. Support the team in maintaining equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition. Follow safety protocols while working on-site to ensure a safe environment for all team members.

Experience

A keen interest in , greenkeeping keeping or landscape maintenance. Familiarity with basic gardening techniques and principles is advantageous but not essential. Some experience using hand tools and power tools would be beneficial. A willingness to learn and adapt in a practical environment. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of work.
