Summary

We are seeking a Trainee GRP Laminator to join our dedicated team in Market Deeping. This role offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in boat manufacturing within a supportive family environment. Based at our workshop, you will contribute to the creation of high-quality custom boats that meet our clients' specifications.

Responsibilities

Assist in the lamination process for GRP boat construction under supervision. Prepare materials and tools needed for laminating tasks. Support the assembly and fabrication of boat components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized workspace. Follow safety protocols at all times. Learn and apply techniques related to fiberglass lamination and boat building. Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.

Qualifications

Basic understanding of mechanical principles and hand tool usage. Willingness to learn fabrication techniques and boat building processes. Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Previous warehouse or construction experience is advantageous but not essential. Ability to work as part of a team in a workshop environment. Commitment to safety standards during all tasks. Enthusiasm for marine industries and boat manufacturing.

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour
