About the Course

This 16-week training programme is designed for

novice drivers

who want to progress from car or van driving into the HGV sector.
You'll receive full support from our experienced instructors and employability team, covering:

HGV

Category C licence

training (theory & practical)

Tachograph and Driver CPC

modules

Health & safety

and vehicle checks

Employability support

including

CV writing and interview coaching

Our dedicated tutors will guide you from day one through to your final test and beyond.

Who Can Apply

We're looking for motivated individuals who:

Live or work in the

Bristol / West of England Combined Authority

area Hold a

full UK Category B (car) licence

Are

regular drivers

(e.g. van, delivery, or personal car use) Have

no previous HGV licence

Can commit to completing the

16-week course

Are ready to begin a new career in

HGV driving

After the Course

While you'll be expected to

source your own HGV driving role

, our team will support you with job search tools, CV preparation, and interview practice to help you take the next step in your career.
