The Opportunity
Are you passionate about engineering and eager to build a rewarding career as a highly skilled engineer? Join our supportive team, where you will receive specialist on-the-job training from senior engineers and gain a formal college qualification. Many of our trainees have successfully developed into expert engineers with us.
What You'll Do
Shadow experienced engineers to gain hands-on experience across a variety of assistive devices
Attend maintenance visits, emergency callouts, and installations of patient hoists, stairlifts, domestic lifts, specialist beds, baths, and more
Participate in in-house and manufacturer-led training programmes to continually enhance your skills
Communicate professionally with clients, building strong relationships
Maintain and repair disability equipment to the highest standards

About You
Enthusiastic, practical, and eager to learn
Hardworking, motivated, and seeking a long-term career
Strong communication skills
Full UK driving licence
GCSE Maths & English (or equivalent)
Based in Hereford
Salary
Salary will be reviewed based on relevant age and experience. Once fully trained and included on the on-call rota (1 in 12 weeks), you will receive an increased on-call hourly rate and be provided with a company van for work travel.
