Trainee Inspector

- no previous experience in inspection is required. If you're practical, eager to learn, and have an interest in engineering or mechanics, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Do (After Training):



Carry out inspections on pressure equipment (we'll teach you everything you need to know) Learn to assess equipment in line with UK regulations and European standards Travel to client sites across the North West, working independently once fully trained Play a key role in helping businesses operate safely and legally

What We're Looking For:



A hands-on, practical mindset -- maybe you've worked with tools, in a trade, or enjoy fixing things in your spare time Comfortable using basic computer systems (like Microsoft Word and email) A proactive attitude and willingness to learn Ability to work independently once trained A full UK driving licence (essential for getting to client sites)

Qualifications

Essential:



GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade A-C) A willingness to undergo training including Confined Spaces certification

Desirable (but not required):



Any engineering, mechanical, or technical studies or experience An interest in safety, engineering, or inspection Previous hands-on work (e.g. mechanical, electrical, construction, trade roles)
