Definition of the role:
As an Trainee Surveyor, you will deliver efficiency and quality to ensure targets are met across Geo-Info Division.

This is an integral role within the team, and you will thrive on seeing yourself grow as a surveyor and individual over time.

Scope of the role:



Working across the division, you will be responsible for delivering the required company standards on a day-to-day basis. Although your technical understanding may be limited, you will be supported to deliver results and drive the Division forward.

Responsibilities:



Driving Results



Achieving the daily target set to the required standard in the allocated time frame Ensuring all data is collected, checked and basic editing is carried out before uploading at the end of each shift to the correct project folder Using own initiative to problem solve, eliminating errors as far as reasonably possible Responding to queries via phone or email, within a 4-hour window Always looking to promote the division and the wider group to new clients, and adding services to existing clients

Operations



Reviewing the following days work and ensuring all supplied information is read and understood Arriving at your first job in a timely manner in accordance with any meeting times advised by office staff Arriving on site in a presentable manner with correct PPE Ensuring you are working in a safe and professional manner Always being prepared for work with the correct equipment Checking all equipment is calibrated and in working order, reporting and faults or damage immediately to Senior Lead/Lead Surveyor Maintaining all company equipment to a high standard including vehicles, mobile devices, PPE and technical equipment Reporting any health and safety issues on site immediately to Senior Lead/Lead Surveyor Ensuring your weekly timesheet is completed and submitted at the end of each week Ensuring company vehicles are cleaned regularly, maintaining levels of consumables including oil, screen wash and anti freeze Completing monthly vehicle inspection reports and returning to the office by the last working day of the month Ensuring consumable stock is replenished via the office or externally Being flexible as client requests can change procedures and policies at short notice Understanding of all standards relating to the services we offer Attending project meetings when required, punctually and well prepared

Pay: 24,812.00-30,000.00 per year
