Overview

Oxfordshire Concrete Ltd are looking to recruit a full time yard operative for our concrete batching plant. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining the concrete batching plant and yard as well as loading the batching plant with raw materials using the loading shovel (training provided for the right person). This role involves manual labour and outdoor work, so you must be physically fit and comfortable working in a busy industrial environment.

Duties

Cleaning and maintaining the batching plant Assist with loading and unloading materials using appropriate equipment and techniques. Organise and maintain the yard, ensuring it remains tidy, safe, and accessible. Conduct routine basic mechanical checks on equipment. Support daily site operations. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily tasks. Carrying out general labouring duties Follow health and safety procedures at all times to minimise risks within the yard environment
Training.

Full training will be provided for the Loading Shovel and the telehandler with opportunity to gain recognised ticket/qualification.
No Previous plant experience required.

Full Time Permanent Position - hours of work will be Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday mornings.

Great rates of pay available. Uniform, PPE and full training provided.
