About Us

Beatus Cartons is one of the UK's leading folding-carton manufacturers, established in 1940 and based in Porth, Rhondda.We design and produce high-quality packaging for well-known brands across food, healthcare, beauty, retail, and gifting sectors.

Trainee Machine Operators

through to

Skilled Folder-Gluer Operators

and

Team Leaders

Current Opportunities

We have opportunities at three levels, depending on your experience:

Trainee Machine Operator

Ideal for those with

mechanical or production-line experience

in any industry. Full training provided (approx. 9-12 months to reach Operator level). Learn to run and maintain advanced gluing machinery (Signature, Vega, Anter lines). Clear pay progression as you develop skills.

Skilled Folder-Gluer Operator

Experience in carton gluing or similar packaging machinery required. Responsible for machine setup, running, maintenance, and productivity. Work closely with production planning and quality teams to ensure on-time, high-standard output. Opportunity to mentor trainees and progress toward leadership roles.

Team Leader (Gluing Department)

Experienced operator with leadership skills or supervisory background. Oversee production schedules, quality control, and staff performance. Support training and continuous improvement initiatives. Key part of our growing management structure.

What We're Looking For

? Mechanical aptitude or prior experience in machinery / production ? Strong attention to detail and quality ? Reliable, team-focused attitude ? Willingness to learn and develop
Experience in

printing, packaging, food manufacturing, engineering, or light mechanical trades

is highly valued.
