Trainee Maintenance Enginerr/fitter
Job Description
Sustainable Packaging Manufacturer in is seeking to train and develop a trainee engineer / fitter to shadow and support senior multiskilled engineer.
Ideally the right candidate will have studied engineering at HNC level or have conducted some apprenticeship training and posses hands on mechanical and / or electrical skills and is perhaps now looking for their first job or wishing to change career.
The role involves learning from an experienced engineer and helping to repair and maintain machinery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. With a view to gaining experience and securing a more senior maintenance role at one of our Glasgow factories.
Depending on experience, the initial starting pay is between 27,100 - 28,500 day shift (7am - 4pm Mon- Thur, 7am -1pm) with opportunities for overtime.
