Monday - Friday, 40 Hours

The successful candidate will be based in our Belfast office, embarking on a two?year training programme designed to build hands?on experience and the skills needed to operate independently as a Maintenance Estimator.




During the programme, you will:




Gain exposure to a diverse range of Public and Private sector contracts across the UK & Ireland. Visit sites to carry out building services surveys and assess tender requirements. Engage directly with clients and stakeholders to understand service needs. Analyse contract documents -- including specifications and asset information -- to quantify and evaluate tendered services. Compile accurate cost estimates by inputting labour, materials, and specialist contractor prices into the Estimating Programme. Collaborate with the Estimating Team in finalisation meetings to refine and submit tenders. Support procurement and operations teams during contract mobilisation. Develop market insight, competitor awareness, and delivery strategy options. Build knowledge across a wide range of maintenance activities and services, both self?delivered and subcontracted. Master supply chain management, including specialist supplier negotiations and appointments. This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the job title and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.




About You



Essential Criteria:


Mechanical, Electrical or HVAC Trade experience (NVQ Level 3) or comparable Building Services Qualification.

Two-year post qualification site experience.

Valid driver's licence.

Demonstrate strong communication and technical understanding.

The ability to positively engage with Client and to gain an understanding of their current delivery method with a view to tailoring our pricing / bid to ensure the correct solution is delivered

Wide experience in the hard services industry, including mechanical, electrical, building fabric and specialist maintenance.

Strong IT skills in the use of Microsoft Excel, Work, Outlook etc.


Desirable Criteria:


Previous experience in a similar role.

Experience in new energy technologies

Specialist services experience such as Fire & Security, BMS, HVAC etc.
