Trainee Mechanical Engineer/Fitter (Nights)

27,500 - 28,500 + Training + 28 Days Holiday + Progression + Additional Company Benefits

You will be based in or commutable from one of the following locations:

Bolton, Horwich, Wigan, Edworth, Leigh, Chorley, Farnworth

. Other locations also considered.

Do you hold a mechanical engineering qualification and are looking for a role in industry offering further training and development?

In this role you will work on mechanically biased equipment to minimise downtime and maximise output across the processing site within a company who are passionate about continued staff investment.

The company are a specialist in their industry and due to continued growth and expansion plans they are now looking to further expand head count across the site.

This role would suit someone with a mechanical engineering qualification looking for their first role in industry.

This role would suit an engineer with mechanical skills looking for a long term permanent position.

The Role:

- Working as a Trainee Mechanical Engineer on mechanical equipment and plant equipment to minimise downtime and maximise output across a busy processing site

- Further training and progression

- Further duties will include but are not limited to: Maintenance, Inspections, PPM's, Health and Safety, Continuous Improvement and more.

Monday - Friday (10pm - 6am) (Night Shift)

- Long term permanent position

The Person:

- You will hold a mechanical engineering-related qualification such as HNC, HND or similar

- Any previous experience on mechanical fitting/engineering or similar will be considered beneficial.

- Looking for a long-term permanent position

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 27,500.00-28,500.00 per year
