Medicines Counter Assistant

required to join our

dispensary teams working within our branch

in Church Road, Bishops Cleeve.

We are seeking to recruit an

experienced retail person

as a new member to join our team in our innovative and award winning family run business, either on a part time or full time basis


The position is a permanent vacancy working between 25 hours per week Monday to Friday (between the hours of 8am to 7pm Monday to Friday with alternate Saturdays and short Sunday shifts on a rotational basis . This is our biggest and busiest branch so we are looking for someone with retail or pharmacy experience, and also the ability to work in a fast paced environment

We require you to:

Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work accurately with attention to detail in a busy environment. Assist the pharmacist in providing safe and effective delivery of all pharmaceutical services at branch level Maintain and improve peoples health by promoting Healthy Living Pharmacy services Assist in ensuring the effective and efficient running of each pharmacy Assist the pharmacy in engaging with all commissioned services and complying with the quality framework Opportunity to train towards an NPA qualification as an NVQ2 Dispensing assistant
