Job Overview
M.E. & A. Hughes Limited is a long established small family-run Monumental Masons.
Based in Welshpool, our general working area is throughout Mid-Wales and Shropshire.
Due to continued growth we are looking to expand our team.
The ideal candidate would be reliable, hard working with an emphasis on quality and attention to detail.
Daily duties will include
Primarily involves the installation of memorials, including manual handling and groundwork activities. Preparation of memorials in the yard, prior to installation. Assisting in the production of stone worksurfaces.
Requirements
Physical fitness for lifting, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail. Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn new skills. Ability to use hand tools, power tools and measuring instruments effectively. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. GCSE Maths - grade C or equivalent.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 10.50-14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
