You will play a key role in supporting our Mortgage Advisers, ensuring that client applications are processed efficiently from submission through to completion. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills, excellent communication, and a proactive attitude.
Key Responsibilities
Support Mortgage Advisers in processing new mortgage and protection applications.
Liaise with clients, lenders, solicitors, and other third parties to ensure cases progress smoothly.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records on CRM and lender systems.
Chase outstanding documents and update clients regularly on the progress of their application.
Check application packs and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy.
Prepare and issue compliance documents in line with FCA and company guidelines.
Assist in the preparation of mortgage offers and completion documentation.
Provide excellent customer service and maintain professional relationships with all parties involved.
Identify and escalate any issues or delays to senior team members.
Skills and Experience
Essential:
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to manage multiple cases and work to deadlines.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Desirable (but not essential):
Previous experience in administration, property, banking, or customer service.
Basic understanding of mortgages or the home buying process.
CeMAP qualification or interest in working towards it.
