Employed Trainee Mortgage Adviser
Location: North London & Hertfordshire
Salary: 28,000 basic + guaranteed earnings up to 50,000 during training
On Target Earnings (Year 2): 50,000-60,000+
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9am - 6pm
- Saturday: 10am - 4pm
- Week 1: 6-day week
- Week 2: 5-day week (weekday off)
We're recruiting for a respected estate agency-based brokerage seeking multiple Trainee Mortgage Advisers across North London and Hertfordshire. You'll receive expert in-house training, a clear development path, and live estate agency leads -- all designed to set you up for long-term success.
What's on offer:
- 28,000 basic salary
- Guaranteed uplift to 28,000 until you start earning commission
- Once your commission exceeds the guarantee, you'll move to full commission
- OTE of 50,000-60,000+ by Year 2
- Monthly 500 bonus if banking 10,000+
- Commission Structure:
- 10% proc fee
- 27.5% of the mortgage fee (max fee 1,250)
- 27.5% of protection (APE)
- 30% B&C
- 25 per solicitor referral
- Leads from in-branch estate agency
- Nest pension
- In-house training, supervision, and ongoing support
- Progression path to self-employed within 2-3 years -- you keep your client bank
- CeMAP qualified (ideally full CeMAP; CeMAP 1 considered if working toward 2 & 3)
- No prior mortgage advising experience - this is a full trainee role
- Confident, enthusiastic, and keen to learn all aspects of mortgage advising (including admin)
- Must be able to work Saturdays as part of the rota
