Shifts: 40hrs Mon - Fri 0800 to 1630

About the Role



On behalf of our client, a leading organisation in the aviation industry, we are currently recruiting for a Trainee NDT Workshop Technician.



This client is a leading European MRO which have been operating for over 30 years, providing outstanding customer service and helping their employees progress within their roles. They offer in-house component repair, overhaul and maintenance of a range of aircraft types.



Key Responsibilities



To train in there NDT department and in the cylinder shop to obtain accredited NDT qualifications and also DOT qualifications.



Other duties involve:


Non-destructive testing of various aircraft components in accordance with original manufactures manuals and instructions. Inspection and testing of various oxygen cylinder in accordance with original manufactures manuals and instructions. Ensure quality standards and procedures are observed and maintained Establish and maintain a legally compliant and safe working environment Prepare workshop reports and material reviews to allow the purchasing and commercial departments to create customer estimates Understand customer needs and ensure these are always met/exceeded Help with training on all team members Knowledge of the MOE and company procedures Perform any other duties within your capabilities as directed by the Company

Candidate Requirements


Must be over 21 to obtain non-destructive testing approval as per civil aviation requirements. Have a good eye for detail Enjoy learning and be a quick learner and be prepared to take exams so must be literate. Be computer literate and have a good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite. Be a team player and can listen to our trainers and learn from there extensive experience Have a keen interest in aviation
