Two Rivers Medical Centre located in Ipswichis looking to recruit a trainee nurse associate, to support our clinical nursing team and improve our patient services within our practice. This role is offered on a full-time basis days.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Carry out basic observations (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, oxygen saturation, height, weight BMI)
Undertake phlebotomy, ECG's, and wound care (following training and competency assessment)
Support chronic disease management clinic (e.g., diabetes, asthma, and hypertension) under supervision
Administer vaccinations and immunisations (once trained and assessed as competent)
Provide support with NHS Health Checks and Health promotion activities
Ensure Infection prevention and control procedures are followed at all times
