Over the past 20 years, Acorn has expanded its client base and is now working with organisations across the country in both the private and public sectors.

To underpin our standards of quality and care within the occupational health industry, we have been accredited with both the RISQS and UKAS accreditations. Both have already led to a significant area of growth allowing us to support railway workers as well as providing covid testing services for our customers. Our clinical professionals are supporting customers with sickness absence cases, health surveillance, therapy assessments and well-being initiatives. We are now looking for someone to join this team of welcoming professionals and help us to continue our growth and provide a quality service to more customers throughout the UK.

The role



We have a full-time or part-time vacancy for a Trainee Occupational Health Nurse in and around the Stoke on Trent area. This is an interesting and varied position. The postholder will provide a proactive, confidential and professional customer-focused service ensuring consistency in approach and accuracy of advice to assist the national initiative to reduce absence levels due to ill health.

Applicants will preferably have an understanding of HAVS, Management Referrals and be up to date with their immunisation and venepuncture training.

The successful candidate must had a valid NMC PIN. Qualifications in Occupational Health are desirable, but training can be provided. Occupational Health Degree sponsorship can be offered to the right candidate.

By the very nature of this peripatetic role, the ideal candidate will hold a full driving licence
