An exciting opportunity has opened for a Dental Nurse to join our dental team. We are a well-established independent mixed Dental Practice offering a supportive, experienced and very friendly team of Principals, Specialist Dentists, Practice Manager, Head Nurse and two Hygienists. We offer all aspects of routine and cosmetic Dentistry, NHS & Private. We are a modern three-surgery practice, fully digital and computerised, with newly refurbished surgeries, air-conditioning, and ventilation.

We are a looking for a committed and enthusiastic individual, a team player willing to develop with our progressive practice and ensure that our patients are provided a great service. The candidate should be reliable, demonstrate excellent organisational skills, have the ability to take initiative, bring ideas and is a problem solver. You must display excellent interpersonal skills as we are looking for a warm and friendly individual who will be interacting with our patients and team on a daily basis.

The position is available for immediate start and there is flexibility to consider notice periods. This is a permanent role being offered as a part-time position three days, but we can consider a full-time role for the right candidate (Weekdays 9am to 5pm with one Saturdays per month, 9am to 1pm). You will have access to free online CPD.

There are excellent transport links to the practice, we are a minute's walk from the Underground Station and there is free parking available in the area.

Candidate Requirements:



.

A GDC Number if you are a qualified nurse

Trainees must be enrolled on an appropriate course (NEBDN or equivalent)

. Fluent in English

. Ability to work Part-Time up to three days per week, or Full-Time

. Hep B immunisations completed or be in the process of completing this

. Enhanced DBS Check

Two Good references

Duties will include:



Excellent ability to follow Infection Control procedures

Assist in Stock taking, Practice Compliance & Policy checks, and Audits

Confident in using Computer software; planning and scheduling appointments, and keeping patient records up to date.

. Coherent handling of all types of payments

Excellent Communication skills and willing to help with reception & administration duties; including patient recalls, referrals, registering patients, following up patient queries

Team player and demonstrates initiative

Ability to work calmly under pressure and multitask

Willingness to learn and develop new skills

Position:



Weekdays days 9am to 5pm and partake in Saturday rota 9am to 1pm Pay is dependent on experience and for Trainees TBC

Expected Start Date

: 25/08/25 - 01/09/2024 with flexibility to consider notice periods
