About the Role

Bailey Paints, part of the Rabart Group, is a well-established paint manufacturer based in Stroud. We produce high-quality decorative and industrial paints, and we're looking for a new

full-time team member

to join our production department.

You'll be trained by skilled paint makers -- many of whom have been with us for over 10 years. Our longest-serving team member has been with us for more than 30 years!

This is a hands-on role in a friendly, practical environment. If you're looking for stability, the chance to learn a skilled trade, and to work with a supportive team -- we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture decorative and industrial paints in bulk Mix custom colours using manual and computerised tinting machines Pack and label finished products for dispatch Fulfil online and trade orders Receive and check deliveries Assist with deliveries in a 3.5T van Help with basic site and equipment maintenance

What We're Looking For

Essential:

Experience in a warehouse, factory, or manufacturing environment Physically fit - manual handling up to 25kg Able to follow written instructions (like a recipe) Attention to detail and pride in your work A team player with a strong work ethic Full UK driving licence

Nice to Have:

Forklift licence or experience Background in paint or chemical production Delivery driving experience (Transit-size van) Basic IT skills

Interview Process

Stage 1:

Stage 2:

In-person visit to our site in Stroud, including: A short practical test (make a tin of paint from a formula) A colour differentiation test
