Trainee Parts Assistant

Location: Gammies Groundcare Ltd, Station Yard, Carseview Road, Forfar, Angus, DD8 3BT



Start date: Immediate Start Available



Job Type: Full-time, permanent

The Role

We are currently recruiting a Trainee Parts Assistant for our depot in Forfar, this role is ideal for anyone with previous customer service experience and a passion for mechanics and parts who is keen to learn more.



No two days are the same. This role is within our parts department, where you will be identifying and sourcing parts for our external customers and our internal departments, dealing with counter sales, internal goods, and customer inquiries.



With a wide area of responsibilities, we are looking for someone confident in working independently and as part of a team, with a pleasant manner and deminer and great customer service skills.



Previous experience in a customer-facing role is preferred; full training will be provided, and you will be supported throughout by our existing parts manager and supervisor.

Essential Experience/Skills:

Full driving license NAT 5 Maths & English Excellent organisational and communication skills Customer-focused, hardworking and trustworthy Excellent memory Willingness to learn

Preferred but not essential:

Experience in a customer-facing role (eg retail, sales, hospitality) Previous experience/knowledge of parts
