Rowlands Pharmacy are currently looking for an experienced NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services to work as a Pharmacy Assistant in the Dewsbury Hospital.

Responsibilities

Provide courteous and effective service to all customers and patients. Assist in all dispensing activities under the supervision of a pharmacist. Adhere to company SOPs, Information Governance, policies, and procedures. Develop positive working relationships with healthcare professionals. Assist in the sale of medicines and other merchandise. Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the branch. Manage pharmaceutical/OTC stock and equipment effectively.

I

mplement company security procedures, especially for controlled drugs and cash handling.

Experience and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or an accredited equivalent course, as well as a Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification. Evidence of qualifications held will be required for the successful candidate.


Additionally, we are looking for candidates with experience working in a customer-focused environment, a strong understanding of confidentiality, and the ability to handle medications accurately.
Previous experience in a customer-focused environment. Understanding of confidentiality and accurate handling of medicines. Self motivation, initiative, good interpersonal skills, ability to prioritise workload, and work to deadlines.
