We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and ambitious individual to join our Combe Mill (Oxfordshire) studio as a

Trainee Photographer & Sales Consultant

. This is a unique opportunity to build a career in the photography industry with a structured progression path and full training provided.

The ideal candidate will be a people person who loves engaging with others, demonstrates strong empathy, and is highly driven to book and manage their own clients. A large part of this role involves telesales, calling warm leads, booking clients into photoshoots, and building strong relationships with them before their session. Over time, you will receive training in photography and sales, progressing to running your own shoots and consultations.

Key Responsibilities

Make outbound calls to warm leads, converting them into bookings in your photography diary. Build rapport with clients on the phone and set expectations ahead of their session. Manage your own diary once trained, ensuring a healthy flow of bookings each week. Deliver excellent customer service and create a professional, friendly client experience. Participate in training for sales techniques, discovery calls, and photography skills. Work towards personal and team targets with energy and persistence. Progress to photographing clients and leading their in-studio experience, including product recommendations and sales.

What We're Looking For

A natural love for being on the phone and speaking with people. Confident communicator with excellent phone etiquette. Excellent objection handling skills and professional demeanour Dynamic, quick-thinking, and resilient when handling objections or challenges. Target-driven with a passion for providing an exceptional client experience. Ambitious, eager to learn, and motivated to progress into a fully qualified studio photographer and sales consultant. You must love photographing pets & babies as this is a common shoot client type. Prior telesales, sales, or customer service experience is highly desirable.

Experience with digital image retouching is desirable.

As this is a retail business, weekend working is essential (1-2 days per week).

Due to our beautiful but remote countryside location, a driving licence and your own transport are essential.
