Entering the business as a Trainee Product Developer for The London Mint Office based in Tonypandy, you will learn all the skills required to become responsible be for several projects that will be sold in the UK & Ireland markets - with the ultimate goal of becoming a fully fledged Product Developer.
Our brand is based upon creating a true passion for our customers, and our objective is to help customers build and expand their coin portfolio and knowledge. This is a creative position which focuses on bringing the best products to market and creating tangible collectables that place history into the hands of our customers. You will create something that will not only immortalise history, but also become part of it for years to come.

Responsibilities:
Product expertise:
gaining an intimate knowledge of allocated products, ensuring you can speak with confidence about them and providing support into other teams (sales & marketing) where necessary.
New product development:
identifying gaps in the product portfolio and developing a business case and concept for filling them with new products.
Working with marketing and sales teams:
to maximise all sales opportunities and ensuring long-term growth and maximum return on investment through the development of the products.
Market Research:
learning the fundamental elements of world history to understand key themes and anniversaries. Researching a wide range of products topics, themes and anniversaries to be developed into product ranges.
Monitor competitive products:
identifying opportunities and where necessary updating of product requirements.
Key Skills:
Positive mindset, inspiring and a true team player.
Passionate about and have a good understanding of Product Development (preferred but not essential).
Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
The ability to confidently present to key stakeholders holders of the business.
Strong commitment to timelines, accuracy and professionalism.
A driven, proactive individual interested in learning the ropes to becoming a Product Developer.
