Overview
FDL is a family run Business within the Birmingham area that was established in 1948. FDL Produce heavy metal pressings and welded assemblies for the automotive, domestic and yellow goods industries.
FDL are seeking a Trainee Production Assistant to support the Production Manager in our busy manufacturing facility.
Are you a college leaver from a Manufacturing or engineering background looking to kickstart your career in a busy and growing manufacturing facility.
FDL will offering training in order to upskill and potential progression within the Business.
Duties
Daily input into MRP system
Booking In Purchases
Raising & allocating material
Closure of completed Works Orders
Customer Schedules
Adjustment to MRP
Sales order entry
stock adjustments
Chasing material Purchases
Ordering customer transport
Ordering customer packaging
Condensing material stock
Help implement/improve systems
Point of contact for Customers
Support with production planning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From 24,800.00 per year
