Production Trainee

Central Chemical Supplies Ltd (CCS) is seeking to appoint a production trainee to join our team. The role will be a full time 1 year contract with the potential to be made permanent after successful completion.

This opportunity will allow a person to gain valuable training and experience to enable them to have a successful career in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

CCS is a family owned business that distributes and manufacturers a wide range of chemical products for various industries in the UK and Ireland. This includes Agri-food, building, detergent/hygiene, metal treatment, textiles, and water treatment.

Job Details

The job will be based at CCS (Donaghcloney). Working week is Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm, Friday 8am-4pm.

You will receive training both internally and externally from accredited providers. This will allow you to carry daily production tasks including;

Adhering to health & safety protocol on site.

Forklift driving.

Warehousing.

Loading/unloading lorries.

Assembling goods.

Mixing/blending chemicals to set formulations.

Labelling, filling and packing various hazardous chemicals into containers.

Washing containers.

General upkeep of the facilities.

Other jobs as requested.

Requirements:

Good time keeping.

Reliable.

Basic English and maths skills.

Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.

Good communication skills.

No previous experience is necessary but the candidate should have a can do attitude and willingness to learn and work in a busy manufacturing environment.

Full PPE will be provided to the successful candidate on commencement of employment.

Salary Starting at 26,400 per annum (with annual salary reviews)
