We are a well-respected provider of Energy Consultancy and Compliance Services that is looking for a self-motivated Trainee Energy Assessor to join our professional, driven and dedicated Nottingham based team of experts.

You will need to be highly organised, thrive under pressure and be able to collaborate with a wide range of construction professionals at both a national and localised level.

In the early stages you will be supporting our existing Energy Assessors in completing various calculations and reports for Building Control applications across a range of small to medium scale developments. This will provide important experience which will complement subsequent planned training and qualification that will permit you to become accredited as a practising Energy Assessor.

This fantastic opportunity would be well suited to an individual who has a background in construction or the built environment, either through academic study or direct practical experience. We are however open to applications from candidates who can demonstrate an interest within this area coupled with a strong willingness to learn.

We pride ourselves on offering our clients the highest level of service and therefore applicants should be educated to at least an A-level / HND standard with an emphasis on technical and mathematical related subjects. Since written and verbal communication is a vital part of the role, it will also be important for candidates to demonstrate a strong command of the English language.

In your new role, you can expect to be undertaking a number of duties, such as:

Liaising with our clients Undertaking SAP Assessments and modelling improvements Consulting on compliance with Approved Document L of the Building Regulations
