Trainee Quality Advisor

and play a key role in supporting the delivery of our substations project in

Lochgilphead

What you'll be doing



Attend pre-start meetings for significant projects. Support project teams in developing and following quality plans and inspection/test plans. Review quality documentation from the supply chain. Assist delivery teams in achieving required deliverables and resolving issues. Provide quality advice to supply chain partners where appropriate. Use digital systems to monitor quality performance and manage issues against targets. Support the collation and delivery of handover records on time. Work to the processes and procedures of the Business Management System. Support internal and external audits. Assist in training, coaching, and developing quality skills, including sharing lessons learned. Promote a culture of continual improvement. Support the use of digital tools for project governance and quality assurance. Live the Balfour Beatty Values and ensure a relentless focus on Zero Harm and Right First Time


Who we're looking for



Essential:

Understanding and commitment to Quality Management. Awareness of business improvement initiatives. Ability to gather, analyse, and evaluate facts. Strong attention to detail and ability to see tasks through to completion. Excellent relationship-building skills. Confident in delivering reports orally and in writing. Able to work within a multi-discipline team. Proficient in modern office systems (e.g., Office 365).

Desirable:

Awareness of sector-specific certifications and requirements. Experience using Digital Progressive Assurance systems / Electronic Forms. Operational experience in construction or asset management. Knowledge of ISO9000 terminology.
