RCS Doors are recruiting for Trainee Quality inspector for our site in Rawtenstall. The position will sit within the quality team
The successful candidate would ideally have:

You will need to be IT literate with a sound mechanical knowledge.
Act in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with both internal and external customers.
You will use your experience to ensure systems are manufactured correctly.
Ensure a safe working environment to comply with Company Policy and Health & Safety Regulations.
Preparing all order requirements prior to loading.
You will possess excellent written and verbal communication and organisational skills, as well as planning experience.
Associated administration - checklists, pdf's, excel, e-mail, reports and quality assessments.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical components using schematics to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Utilize root cause analysis techniques to identify defects and implement corrective actions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system design and improve product reliability.
Maintain detailed documentation of inspection findings and communicate results effectively to management.
Organise and prioritise tasks to meet project deadlines while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Summary
As a QC Inspection Engineer, you will be integral to ensuring product quality and compliance within our organisation. Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager and R&D department, your role will leverage core skills in mechanical knowledge, door engineering, schematics, to assess and improve manufacturing processes.
Your premium skills in root cause analysis and roller shutter manufacturing will be essential for identifying and resolving quality issues on the factory floor and on-site installations through calls, conferencing and on-site visits. Strong management, communication, and organizational skills will facilitate collaboration across teams, driving continuous improvement and maintaining high standards of excellence in our products.
