Overview
We are seeking motivated individual to join our team as a trainee reclaim operator This position offers a valuable opportunity to develop technical skills within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to operate and monitor a recycling machine turning scrap polythene into reusable pellet form. The position is permanent working a 5 day week Mon-Fri 8am -5pm.
Duties
Segregation and sorting of scrap polythene material. Continual monitoring and feeding of the reclaim line. General housekeeping. Handle materials safely and efficiently within the reclaim department. Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on manufacturing equipment within their capabilities. Recording outputs and production logs. Apply basic math skills for calculations, and quality checks. Participate in materials handling activities to ensure smooth workflow Follow safety protocols during all operations and maintain a clean work environment. Some manual handling required.
Experience
Prior experience preferred but no essential as candidate will be fully trained. A FLT licence is preferred but not essential.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.81 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
