About the Role:
As a
Trainee Kitchensafe Engineer
, you will be trained to install, maintain, and service
Kitchensafe fire safety systems
for our clients across the UK. This is an
entry-level opportunity
with
full training provided
, ideal for someone looking to start a long-term career in fire safety engineering.
You will work alongside experienced engineers and gradually build the skills and confidence needed to carry out work independently.
Key Responsibilities;
Assist with the
installation, servicing, and maintenance
of Kitchensafe systems under supervision
Learn how to carry out
basic fault finding and diagnostics
, with full training and support
Support engineers during site visits and installations
Participate in a 1-in-4 call-out rota, ensuring prompt and reliable service
Communicate professionally with on-site teams, concierges, and building management
Accurately record work completed using a
PDA system
(training provided)
Travel to sites across the UK with support and planning from the team
Be flexible to
stay away from home occasionally
, with accommodation and expenses covered
Requirements

Background in a
maintenance, facilities, construction, electrical, mechanical, or engineering environment
, with experience using tools and attending site visits
Comfortable working in
live environments
and following site rules, permits, and safety procedures
Basic knowledge of
electrical or mechanical systems
is advantageous but
not essential

when assisting with installations, servicing, and inspections
