Trainee Roastery Assistant
Job Description
We are looking for a Trainee Roastery Assistant to join our coffee roastery team. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn the craft of coffee roasting and production in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, team spirit, eagerness to learn, and a love for specialty coffee. This is a development role with real progression opportunities into roasting. Training will include roast profiling, machine safety, production efficiency, food hygiene standards, and coffee grading basics.
Responsibilities
Support daily roasting operations.
Assist with green bean handling.
Assist with batch production.
Weigh and pack coffee.
Carry out quality checks.
Clean equipment.
Fulfil orders for wholesale and retail customers.
This is part of the jobstart programme and does have strict criteria
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: 15,262.50-27,054.13 per year
Expected hours: 25 per week
