Trainee Safety Advisor



Here at Electricity Asset Services (EAS), we are currently looking for a

Trainee

Safety Advisor

to join our family run business. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and work alongside experienced professionals and help ensure a safe working environment. This role will be based at our office in Larbert working 40 hours per week.

Who we are



EAS specialise in procurement, design, management and execution of all works associated with High and Low voltage underground electricity networks on behalf of major framework contractors and Distribution Network Operators (DNO's).

We have over 40 years combined experience specific to our services offered such as HV/LV cable jointing and terminating, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, 24 hours emergency call out, project management and more. Our purpose is to positively contribute to the electrical industry- providing value to our clients, customer and our people.

Purpose



As a Trainee Safety Advisor, you will support the HSE team by assisting with monitoring, and continuous improvement for safety practices across the organisation. This role is designed to provide hands- on experience and guided learning, helping you develop a strong understanding of compliance, risk management and industry regulations.

Overview of main duties and responsibilities



Supporting the HSE team in day-to-day tasks

Assisting with risk assessments, inspections and audits

Helping to investigate and report on incidents or near misses

Learning to apply relevant HSE legislation

Assist in supporting the delivery of toolbox talks and safety briefings

Maintaining accurate records and safety documentation

Any other duties as reasonably required

What you'll bring



As Trainee Safety Advisor, you will bring genuine interest in health and safety and a desire to grow within the field by demonstrating good observation and communication skills, both written and verbal, and the confidence to engage with colleagues across the organisation. Your attention to detail and proactive attitude will support the delivery of health and safety initiatives.
