Olivers are a long-standing family business with a heritage in farm machinery going back 200 years. We were the first independent CLAAS dealer in 1947 and the business has gone from strength to strength with the last 5 years seeing significant growth with an expanded sales territory and 3 additional depots at Reading, Winchester and Petworth. We are looking to recruit a Trainee Sales Administrator to join our growing team at our Winchester depot.

As a trainee, you would work alongside our Sales Administration Manager to help strengthen this growing team. You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks that will not only aid the sales team at the Winchester branch but also those across the company. As part of this role you will be dealing with sensitive information and therefore discretion and confidentiality are a vital part of the role.

Requirements of the Role:



Assist in the processing of Machinery sales orders, supporting the Field Sales Managers across all locations. Liaise with our key suppliers. Attend various sales launches and product update events. Support local Show events in the region and at branch level

Skill requirements:



A friendly, "can do attitude" is a prerequisite. Effective communication skills both verbal and written Good numeracy skills are essential. IT competence is essential with experience with Excel and spreadsheets Need to be detail oriented with strong organisational skills Can work well under pressure and adapt to new challenges Works well within a team. Understands the importance of discretion when liaising with customers and key suppliers. A background in/ an understanding of the Agricultural Industry would be beneficial

Benefits



Starting Salary - 20,280 - 25,250 per annum based on experience. Holiday entitlement - 24 days per year plus bank holidays Pension - 3% employee contribution and 7% employer contribution Life Assurance including dependent's pension Ongoing training as required

Hours



Monday - Thursday, 8am - 5pm and Friday, 8am - 4pm with 1 hour unpaid lunch break (basic 39 hour working week)
