We are expanding our commercial team and are looking for a

Trainee Sales Estimator

to join our existing and successful estimating team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is eager to start a rewarding career in sales estimating and technical project support within a growing industry.

The Role



As a

Trainee Sales Estimator

, you will support our sales and estimating team in preparing accurate and competitive quotations for industrial door and loading bay projects. You will learn how to interpret drawings, specifications, and customer requirements while developing the skills to produce detailed proposals and assist in the sales process from enquiry to order.

Key Responsibilities



Assist in preparing quotations and cost estimates for industrial door and loading bay projects based on client requests and field based engineer reports. Learn to interpret and gain a knowledge of diverse manufacturing supply chain, technical drawings, site surveys, and client specifications. Communicate with suppliers to obtain material and component pricing. Support the Sales and Projects teams with customer enquiries and technical details. Maintain and update pricing databases, enquiry logs, and CRM systems. Ensure all quotations are accurate, professional, and issued on time. Participate in product and industry training provided by RDS and our suppliers.

Pay: 26,000.00-30,000.00 per year
