Trainee Sales Executive

Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Trainee Sales Executive to join our team in Altrincham, Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating leads, making outbound calls, and closing sales for our range of office equipment and photocopiers. There is scope to go out on the road visiting customers and providing sales face to face. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a passion for providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:



Outbound Calls:

Proactively make outbound calls to potential customers to generate new business leads and sales opportunities.

Lead Generation:

Identify and qualify potential customers through various means including databases, research, and referrals.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain in-depth knowledge of our products, services, and the office equipment industry to effectively communicate benefits and features to customers.

Sales Presentations:

Conduct persuasive sales presentations over the phone to prospective customers, highlighting the benefits of our office equipment and photocopiers.

Customer Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.

Sales Targets:

Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs.

Follow-Up:

Perform timely follow-ups with potential customers to advance sales processes and close deals.

Sales Administration:

Accurately record sales activities, customer interactions, and order details in the CRM system.

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with the sales team and other departments to share insights, strategies, and best practices.

Experience / Requirements:



No sales experience necessary as full on-site training will be given.

Communication Skills:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a confident and persuasive phone manner.

Sales Skills:

Strong sales skills with the ability to identify customer needs, present solutions, and close sales.

Customer Focus:

A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and building long-term relationships.

Technical Aptitude:

Ability to quickly learn and understand product specifications and features.

Organisation:

Highly organised with good time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Motivation:

Self-motivated and driven to achieve and exceed sales targets.

CRM Knowledge:

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
