Summary

We are seeking a motivated Trainee Sales Executive to join our award-winning team at John Mulholland Motor Group in Randalstown, County Antrim.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients. Conduct sales activities to generate leads and close deals. Immerse yourself in the products on offer, gleaning enviable product knowledge. Assist the established sales and marketing teams with their duties to include customer engagement, site presentation, online initiatives, video presentations and product demonstrations Utilise CRM software to track sales activities and manage customer interactions. Complete in-house and respective brand training Eventually meet or exceed sales targets set by management.

Essential Criteria

This is a trainee role where on-the-job and manufacturer training will be provided and heavily invested in by the company for the right individual. Confidence in speaking with the public, representing our company and what it stands for at all times as well as the right attitude are of the upmost importance. Desire to exceed customer expectations. Clean driving license. Desire to learn and work within a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
An interest in cars is preferred but not essential.

Working hours:

M - F

09:00 - 17:30 with one late night to 7pm, at least 2 x Saturdays a month until 1pm, with a requirement for more at certain times of the year. As this is a trainee role there may be the requirement to work at offsite events and promotional activities, sometimes at weekends.

The successful candidate will eventually move to a commission based pay structure (OTE 40K+) upon completion of their training at the decision of management. This may bring other benefits such as a company car. Anticipated length of training - 12 month minimum.
