NFU Mutual' s Agency Moreton in Marsh is recruiting for a full time Trainee Sales Executive to join our growing team.

The Role:
Plan, implement and monitor Sales and Marketing campaigns and initiatives across all business and products areas.
Contacting prospective Commercial and Bespoke customers by both telephone and email as well as attending face to face appointments with customers.
Identifying larger opportunities for Agents and working these leads to get appointments.
Leafleting areas for potential new business.
Attending local Shows / Events / Exhibitions in order to network potential new business.
Ensure customer follow-up all the time.
Vet Lead lists for warm and cold leads
Create and maintain a workable reaching pipeline.
Drive Financial Services and Risk Management Services business through cold calling potential new clients
Liaise with NIS department heavily to grow additional business to ensure our customer's needs are fully covered.
Create, maintain and update database of customers with complete information and emails.
Identify prospects that fit the target demographic.
Use product knowledge to showcase the solutions that we can offer to prospects.
Use database to track progress with new prospects.
Pro-actively establish new sales opportunities by cross selling
Create, maintain and update database of customers with complete information and emails.
Identify larger opportunities for Agents and work these leads to get appointments.
Process general customer enquiries, policy alterations, renewals and introduce new/additional NFU Mutual insurance products and services.
Transact business compliantly within FCA requirements and always with a 'customer-centric' approach.
Meet outbound productivity, appointment and sales targets.
Report weekly sales goals and objectives to Sales/Operations Manager
Report monthly pipeline progress to Sales/Operations Manager.
What we're looking for:
An experienced strong sales person, ideally with Insurance experience.
Comfortable with both over the phone and face to face selling
A motivated, pro-active and driven individual
Someone who is Influential and persuasive
Someone who can prioritise and manage a busy workload
Individuals who can demonstrate the drive, energy and enthusiasm required to provide a fantastic customer experience to our existing and prospective clients.
A confident personality who can work well within a team environment but can also work just as well as an individual
Someone who shows initiative and has a "can do" attitude
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, & relationship building abilities.
Minimum of Grade C in GCSE Math's and English (or equivalent).
Full driving license and access to your own vehicle.

Full time Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm.
Training will need to be done in our Moreton in Marsh office but, once trained, there will be a requirement from time to time to work from our Cheltenham office so flexibility is required.
