Screening Technician (AAA Screening programme), Band 3
30 hours a week
The primary purpose of this role is to undertake abdominal ultrasound scanning as part of the community AAA screening programme. The post holder will ensure abdominal ultrasound scanning is undertaken to a high standard and in accordance with national standard operating procedures as identified by the National Screening Programme (NAAASP).

Trainees will start on a band 3 with progression potential to Band 4, subject to successful completion of: Level 3 Health Screening Diploma, ongoing competency assessments (OSCEs) and service requirements and availability of a suitable Band 4 post.
