Job Overview


We are seeking a skilled individual with some practical, engineering or electrical experience, the person will be detail-oriented and who has a passion for learning and is a problem solver with excellent attention to detail and a can-do attitude. The candidate ideally will have some form of job history within a hands-on site role with some electrical experience.

The role involves travel throughout the UK and nights out, a night out allowance is paid, along with payable overtime & expenses. For the right candidate full training can be provided.

Full BS7858 Vetting and DBS will be required if interview stage passed.

Responsibilities



Install, implement, and maintain security systems, including Access Control Systems, IP Camera Systems and Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) & security fencing. Conduct thorough assessments of existing security measures and recommend improvements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security solutions into new constructions and renovations. Ability to read technical drawings Utilise hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to install and repair security hardware. Interpret schematics and technical drawings to facilitate system design and installation processes. Provide training and support to staff on the use of security systems and protocols. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform routine maintenance as required. Stay updated on the latest trends in security technology and best practices. To be able to maintain all provided company equipment. Working within and adherence/compliance to all Health and Safety standards CIA quality system procedures and NSI engineering standards To accurately record all information including commissioning results Identify risks and controls for RAMS

Experience



Proven experience in a problem solving fast paced role. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems related to security installations advantageous. Familiarity with CCTV systems, Intruder systems and access control, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting advantageous Experience using hand tools, power tools, and construction techniques. Knowledge of telecommunication systems is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret technical documentation advantageous. H&S Knowledge. Ability to work independently. NEEDS to be flexible with travel and able to work as of needs of business.

Qualifications The Candidate Will Ideally Have-



Full UK clean Driving licence Knowledge of Security systems inc British Standards advantageous ECITB Passport to Safety advantageous ECS CSCS advantageous CITB SSSTS advantageous IPAF 3A & 3B advantageous Knowledge of Gallagher Tech/Systems advantageous Knowledge Axis Tech/Systems advantageous
