We are currently seeking an experienced carer, who would welcome an opportunity to train to become a Senior Care Worker, working in the field, in Irthlingborough, Higham Ferrers, Rushden, Raunds and their surrounding areas.
You will start by working 3-4 shifts per weekday, on a minimum of a 20-hour contract and build up to learning to undertake the on-call shift and duties. You will be based from home, traveling and working in your local community.
Shifts are a mix between 07.00 to 15.00 and/or 15.00 to 22.00 hrs, worked on a rotational basis with fixed days off each week and an alternative weekend.

The pay for the on-call shifts will be 45 (Monday to Thursday) and 60 (Friday to Sunday) Plus additional pay for care and compliance visits and bank holiday working.
Position requirements
This role would suit an experienced carer who wishes to progress in the Social Care sector. You will need the confidence to lead, support, supervise and spot check a team of carers.
Use of own reliable transport is required, for which a mileage allowance is paid.

Responsibilities
Ensure a high quality of care is adhered to and as a valued member of our care team, your responsibilities will vary from person to person, thus offering both variety and job satisfaction.
Cover care calls in planned and emergency situations. Undertake a planned on-call shift a week and then ad hoc on-call shifts to cover colleagues absences.
Assist the office team with additional duties that may involving taking on new packages of care and mentoring a new employee into the care sector.
Lead, support, supervise and spot check a team of carers.
Undertake administrative compliance and customer care duties.
Ensure all relevant documents, reports and grids are completed.
