As an established provider of high level measuring and inspection products , we are seeking a motivated Trainee Engineer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

Supporting senior engineers with the repair and servicing of measuring instrumentation Conduct basic analysis and measurements using appropriate tools and equipment Participate in site inspections under supervision Work towards UKAS operator qualifications Contribute to project meetings, providing updates and feedback Learn to operate relevant instrumentation and software Maintain records of work activities and technical data Follow health and safety protocols at all times

Skills

GCSE's, A levels and/or BTEC, or similar preferred, but not essential for highly motivated candidates Strong organisational skills, with attention to detail Good communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work effectively as part of a team Basic proficiency in computer software such as MS Office Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to different tasks A proactive attitude with problem-solving capabilities
This role provides valuable hands-on experience in engineering skills, fostering professional growth within a supportive environment. The successful candidate will be mentored by experienced engineers, gaining insights into various technical disciplines while contributing meaningfully to ongoing projects.
