Fair City Amusements Ltd is a well established, family-owned business with over 60 years of trading history. As a leading supplier of amusement, gaming, commercial catering and vending equipment, we serve clients across the hospitality, public and private sectors throughout Scotland.

We are currently seeking a Trainee Service Engineer to join our service department based in Perth. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, honest and reliable individual who is practical, willing to learn and committed to delivering the highest standards of service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation, delivery, installation and maintenance of amusement, gaming, catering and vending equipment. Support experienced engineers and work towards becoming a shift engineer where working weekends is required. Carry out basic cash handling and customer service duties in a professional manner. Complete paperwork to an acceptable level. Restocking vending machines. Work safely and efficiently within busy hospitality environments including pubs and kitchens.

Candidate Requirements

Full, UK driving licence Fit and healthy - this role involves manual handling and occasional heavy lifting. Keen, reliable and motivated to learn new skills Willingness to travel and occasionally work flexible hours Basic understanding of electrical wiring, computing and use of hand tools is advantageous.

Additional Information

Delivery and uplift of equipment from sites may be carried out using a Luton (Box) van and the successful applicant should be aware that this is part of the job. Closing date is Friday 24th October
