As the trainee showroom & logistics coordinator, you will work closely with the operations manager to ensure the smooth operation of the UK showroom. You will oversee a team of interns and play a key role in managing the movement and presentation of collections across fashion, accessories, footwear, eyewear, watches and fine jewellery clients. You'll also get the chance to support internal teams by ensuring all merchandise is accounted for, well-presented and ready for editorial, stylist, influencer and VIP appointments.
Key activities
Maintaining sample archive and off-site inventory logs ensuring all product is easily located and accessible
Pulling sample and logistics reports as required to support the wider fashion team
Maintaining a polished and orderly showroom environment that is client ready at all times
Accurately packing, labelling and documenting all outgoing shipments, both domestic and international, in line with PURPLE protocols
Working with the Operations Manager to maintain stock of necessary showroom and office supplies
Support showroom set-up for UK Press Days and other brand activations
What you will learn
How to oversee the receipt, processing and tracking of all client samples using Fashion GPS (Launchmetrics)
Supervise and support interns with unboxing deliveries, checking in samples and preparing items (e.g. steaming) for restocking
Ensure timely communication of all sample activity to relevant internal and external stakeholders
Coordinate end-of-season sample returns and shipments to clients
Keep the dispatch area neat and functional to promote a safe and efficient working environment
Assist the wider team with ad hoc tasks and ongoing projects as needed

Proficient with Microsoft suite
