Trainee Software & Systems Engineer

What You'll Be Doing

You'll receive hands-on training and mentorship as you contribute to the development and maintenance of our

Meerkat Condition-Based Monitoring (CBM) system

-- an innovative platform that helps businesses monitor industrial equipment and detect issues before they occur.

Your role will include a mix of software development, system integration, and hardware support, all within a supportive and forward-thinking engineering company.

In this role, you'll:

Learn to design, build, and support digital tools used in engineering environments Work with sensors, industrial hardware, and monitoring devices Understand how systems communicate using protocols like Modbus and OPC UA Help ensure data quality, system performance, and security Collaborate with teams across the business to solve real problems Contribute ideas for future improvements and innovations

What We're Looking For

A recent school leaver with a genuine interest in technology and engineering Curious, motivated, and eager to learn new skills Enjoys solving problems and working with both software and hardware Comfortable asking questions and working in a team environment No previous experience needed -- we're looking for potential, not perfection
